Co‑Founder, Career Readiness & Social Media Program

01 — Program Overview

In partnership with Youth Crisis Center (YCC), I co-founded and co-led a career readiness program for young adults experiencing housing instability, focused on practical social media skills, digital safety, and tools for entering the workforce.

02 — Program Courses

Social Media for Beginners

Covers wide range of topics including professional social media use, social media careers, and social media basics.

Content Creation

A workshop where we work with the attendees to create content ideas, plan content creation, and try out some content filming.

🚩Flagship Event - Career Readiness Lab🚩

A hands-on career readiness workshop combining LinkedIn profile development, professional headshots, and live support to help participants leave with tangible, job-ready assets.

03 — Program Operations

  • Led event operations, coordinating end-to-end logistics with YCC staff and stipended volunteers.

  • Secured funding in partnership with YCC staff to support stipended volunteers, enabling execution of event staffing and services.

  • Designed and delivered a guided LinkedIn setup flow using a structured worksheet that included a QR code to distribute headshots as a take-home resource.

  • Kept partners aligned through clear handoffs and day-of coordination across staff and volunteers.

  • Planned course itineraries and supported event communications by designing graphics to promote sessions and provide clear, accessible event information.

03 — Outcome

Participants left with completed LinkedIn profiles, professional headshots, and a clearer understanding of how to present themselves in the job market.

The program created a structured, supportive environment that helped translate digital skills into real-world confidence, giving participants tangible tools they could immediately use in their job search.
